“When we joined to co-direct Árbol, we thought about places that would break away from the mountainous atmosphere in which we live. That is how we arrived at the Medellín city aquarium, a space that presents itself as a distant place, suspended in a coordinate-less space, where contemplation is the only possibility. This fortuitous encounter proposes a reflection that leads us back to those ordinary states in which the landscape before us is enough to give us a moment of fullness.”
